Fair President's Letter

The directors and I would like to welcome you and your family to the 106th Lincoln County Fair. There is no better place to enjoy the variety of entertainment and displays of agricultural products than a county fair. It is a labor of love by many who have attended the fair as children, showed livestock or entered 4-H projects and then dedicated themselves to the production as adults.

The fair is a place to showcase what is great about our community. This is a community where children have chores after school, where people have a hand in raising their own food and fiber, and where local industry is involved in providing a great quality of life. Our Fair showcases the best of all these as well as brings out the child in all of us as we enjoy ‘Fair food’ fun and rides provided by one of the top amusement companies in the country.

This year as we celebrate the Bicentennial of our county and the 100th anniversary of 4-H in Tennessee, let us remind ourselves how fortunate we are to live in this country. Be proud of our heritage and the tradition of our county fair and as you look at the lights of the midway, remember, “life is good” in Lincoln County!
